1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WoW Emu Watchlist ("Service"), including the website at watchlist.wowemu.forum and the Discord bot, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Description of Service

WoW Emu Market is a marketplace reputation system that allows users to:

• Create seller or buyer profiles to build reputation
• Log transactions with other registered users
• Leave reviews for transactions that both parties have confirmed
• Search for trusted sellers by reputation and services offered
• Report scammers who are not registered on the platform

2.1 Transaction and Review Policy

2.2 Scammer Database

The Scammer Database is for reporting bad actors who are not registered users on this platform, or users who have been banned. If you have a dispute with a registered user over a transaction logged through this website, please use the transaction dispute system instead.

The Service is provided "as is" for the benefit of the World of Warcraft private server community.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To submit reports, nominate trusted members, or comment on entries, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, submit false reports, or engage in abusive behavior.

4. User Conduct and Content

4.1 Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree to:

• Provide truthful and accurate information in reports
• Include evidence to support claims when possible
• Respect other users and engage constructively
• Use the Service only for its intended purpose

4.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Submit false reports - Intentionally reporting someone you know to be innocent
• Engage in harassment - Using the Service to target, stalk, or harass individuals
• Doxxing - Posting real-life personal information (real names, addresses, phone numbers, etc.)
• Abuse the dispute system - Filing frivolous disputes to waste admin time
• Create multiple accounts - To circumvent bans or manipulate the system
• Automate access - Scraping, botting, or automated bulk access without permission
• Attempt to compromise security - Hacking, exploiting vulnerabilities, or attacking the Service

4.3 Content Guidelines for Reports

Reports should:

• Focus on in-game or community behavior, not personal matters
• Use gaming usernames/aliases, not real names
• Include specific incidents with dates/times when possible
• Provide evidence (screenshots, chat logs, transaction records)
• Be written objectively without excessive profanity or threats

5. Dispute Process

If you are the subject of a watchlist entry and believe it to be inaccurate or unfair, you have the right to dispute it. The dispute process is as follows:

1. Submit a dispute through the entry page with your explanation and any supporting evidence
2. Our team will review the dispute within 14 days
3. We may contact you for additional information
4. A decision will be made to: remove the entry, modify it, or uphold it with explanation

Disputes are reviewed fairly and impartially. The original reporter's identity is kept confidential unless they choose to participate in the dispute process.

6. Discord Bot

6.1 Bot Permissions

By adding our Discord bot to your server, you grant it permission to:

• Read member join events
• Send messages in designated channels
• Read basic user information (username, ID, avatar)
• Kick or ban members (only if Premium features are enabled and configured)

6.2 Bot Limitations

The bot does NOT:

• Read message content in any channel
• Access voice channels or voice data
• Store private messages
• Access channels it hasn't been explicitly granted access to

7. Premium Services

Premium features are available for a fee. By purchasing a Premium subscription:

• You agree to the pricing displayed at the time of purchase
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
• We reserve the right to modify Premium features with reasonable notice

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us. User-submitted content (reports, comments, evidence) remains the intellectual property of the submitting user, but by submitting content you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and use that content as part of the Service.

"World of Warcraft" and related trademarks are property of Blizzard Entertainment. This Service is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

9.1 Service Provided "As Is"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9.2 Accuracy of Information

We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted reports. While we review submissions, we cannot independently verify every claim. Users should use the information as one factor in their decision-making, not as absolute truth.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Damages resulting from inaccurate watchlist entries
• Loss of reputation from being listed on the watchlist
• Wrongful kicks or bans by the Discord bot
• Loss of business or opportunities
• Any other damages arising from use of the Service

9.4 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your submitted content, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through appropriate legal channels in a mutually agreed jurisdiction.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
